Assumptions of gratitude, appreciation, abundance

Assumptions of gratitude, appreciation, abundance

What the f… are you talking about. Sophie?

Because 99% reality, 99% of all-there-is is invisible to most of us, we all developed some way to cope with that… and of those the most damaging, the most harmful is assumptions.

You assume you know. Youe assume the context. You assume what is wanted and needed.

Asking questions is below you… you think, and you don’t ask. Continue reading “Assumptions of gratitude, appreciation, abundance”

3 profound horoscope readings of this week

3 profound horoscope readings of this week

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Taurus poet Gary Snyder said, “Three-fourths of philosophy and literature is the talk of people trying to convince themselves that they really like the cage they were tricked into entering.” Personally, I think that many of us, not just philosophers and writers, do the same thing. Are you one of us? Your first assignment during the next four weeks will be to explore whether you do indeed tend to convince yourself that you like the cage you were tricked into entering. Your second assignment: If you find that you are in a cage, do everything you can to stop liking it. Third assignment: Use all your ingenuity, call on all the favors you’re owed, and conjure up the necessary magic so that you can flee the cage.

What is a horoscope? It sounds like a prediction, but in my view it is best considered a spiritual practice for the week, or longer if it is necessary.

How so, Sophie?

A spiritual practice, a real spiritual practice is a context. Or else it is just something you do… worthless, if you ask me. Continue reading “3 profound horoscope readings of this week”

Does Your Life Lack Meaning? Purpose? Organizing Principle?

Does Your Life Lack Meaning? Purpose? Organizing Principle?

According to some statistics, 30% of humanity lack meaning in their lives.

I think that this statistics is off by a lot. It’s more like 91%… according to Source. Continue reading “Does Your Life Lack Meaning? Purpose? Organizing Principle?”

Rebooting your life

Rebooting your life

I was on technical support for three hours this morning. Two delightful tech support people… and no results. The software that wasn’t working, kept on not working.

At some point after 3 hours, my virus protection software requested a machine startup. I restarted the PC, and guess what: the software started to work.

This used to be the case when I was still using Macintosh until some 14 years ago. Anything wrong repaired itself with a reboot.

Now, how is this connected to anything spiritual? Let me count the ways…

If you look at your life, or someone else’s life, life has been an almost uninterrupted story of… Continue reading “Rebooting your life”

Steal back your future

Steal back your future
What do you carry that weighs you down so much that that you can never ascend?

Or what weight you carry so that you can’t climb the Tree of Life, until you put it down?

Have you noticed that making permanent changes, doing new things, doing things in a new way, going to places unfamiliar is difficult for you, near impossible?

Consider that you are dragging a persona with you. That persona is what makes the going so difficult, so encumbered… Continue reading “Steal back your future”

How to have a different future than your past has been?

How to have a different future than your past has been?

What gives you being/acting in the present is the future you live into.

I learned that sentence in Landmark Education. And until today it was pretty much just a sentence, that I could not explain to any of my students. I will write about this until I GET IT! lol… how is that for authenticity?

This morning I was watching a TED video with Benjamin Hardy. He says somewhere: “Since 2015, my articles have been read between 50 and 100 million times. Nearly 400000 people subscribe to my weekly newsletter.” His vibration is 170, he has 2 spiritual capacities open, his stuff’s truth value is 3%: it is all tree of knowledge. But his stuff resonates with people. Continue reading “How to have a different future than your past has been?”

What is the right attitude when being coached or being taught by a teacher?

What is the right attitude when being coached or being taught by a teacher?

i-promise-to-teach-you-promise-to-learn.jpg… and by “right” attitude I mean the attitude that gets you what you wanted from life through coaching or learning from a teacher.

Most people don’t.

Why? My guess is an attitude issue… but the attitude issue is caused by something deeper.

I’ll get back to this…What’s underneath the attitude…

But for now let’s see what programs, teachers, coaches do or not do to weed out people who would not be the right match.

I did a training program twice when I was in Landmark Education. The introduction leaders program. Seven months bootcamp. Intense. Hard. Continue reading “What is the right attitude when being coached or being taught by a teacher?”

What is the difference between others’ methods and mine?

What is the difference between others’ methods and mine?

What is the difference between most people’s, programs’ approach to helping people, and mine?

I spent the past day studying, listening to several books, articles on how to cause ‘stuff’ and what struck me is that every approach, every method was valuable, except… Except they were fixed.

Once a human finds something that seems to be working, on a small scale, on themselves, for example, they get stuck… now they teach that, and don’t go beyond.

Whether it is about how to get rich, how to conquer fear, how the mind works, how to become the obvious expert, how to make marketing effective, etc… they stop probing deeper, and they teach what they had gotten.

I just listened to an essay on the fallacy of obviousness… on the theory that won the Nobel Prize in economics for Daniel Kahneman. Continue reading “What is the difference between others’ methods and mine?”

How many balls, ideas, projects can you keep in the air?

How many balls, ideas, projects can you keep in the air?

One of the measures in my Starting Point Measurements is how many bits of information, how many balls you can keep in the air at the same time.

Most people can only keep one ball, reliably, in the air. The moment something better, exciting shows up, they drop it… If they start juggling two, they drop both off… Continue reading “How many balls, ideas, projects can you keep in the air?”

What robs you of the ability to be astute?

What robs you of the ability to be astute?

Astute, astuteness has a bad reputation… so do the words: selling, ambitious… or taking care of yourself. But it is unjust, in fact it is against Life.

But, unfortunately, we live in an age where being selfless seems like a virtue… but it isn’t a virtue, it is imposed upon us.

It is stupid and a learned ‘value’…

The best people in the world are selfish…

Selfish… meaning: they take care of themselves… instead of hoping that others will be selfless and take care of them. And then they can contribute… from being well and being taken care of.

No matter how many times people understand, on airplanes, that when the oxygen masks are dropped at them, they should put on their own first… and then assist others… Because they see it there, but the ability to see it everywhere would require a wider cone of vision than they have… Take care of yourself first doesn’t live like a distinction, it lives as an example that is true on airplanes. Continue reading “What robs you of the ability to be astute?”
