What is consciousness? Vibration? What am I measuring?

What is consciousness? Vibration? What am I measuring?

EPSON scanner imageMany people ask what Einstein’s saying means: You can’t solve a problem on the same level of consciousness that created it…

This article should clue you in. You see a problem differently on different levels. On the level where you see it “as a problem” is the level of consciousness that created it. Continue reading “What is consciousness? Vibration? What am I measuring?”

What is stress? Not what you think…

cause-effect99% of humanity looks at the world, at what’s happening, at everything as an Effect does.

You can be Cause in life and you can be Effect.

You can’t even begin raising your vibration until you become, at least partially, Cause in your life, Cause of everything.

Fear. Irrational Fear. How to beat it…

Irrational-FearsWhat is the psychological or ontological (being science or the science of being) underpinnings (basis, foundation) of unreasonable, irrational fear 1 we deal with all the time… it makes no sense, there is no real danger, and yet, just the idea of something floods your chest with burning fear. (From the pit of the stomach in a shape of inverted triangle, the other points being the shoulders.)

If you haven’t, please read my article on taking your power back, I am referring to that article, and without reading it first, it won’t make sense what you read. OK?

Let’s look at fear historically: the irrational fear, where you could not see the “enemy,” probably originates with the destructive volcano eruptions, the floods, the darkness, caused by close-flying celestial objects, comets.

It is not who you are, that holds you back. It is the understanding you lack.

the understanding you lack is in between the things you knowYou often get your answers at the places you least expect it. This happened to me today.

I bought a marketing software and it came with a webinar recording.

The guy, the speaker, said something that I should have said, but I could never actually verbalize it the way he did:

It is not who you are, that holds you back. It is the understanding you lack

Good, noble, high-minded… are they the source of high vibration or moronic views?

high mindedWhenever you feel that you are on the side of good, the side of noble, the likelihood that you are looking at the world through a narrow cone of vision, and therefore what you say is moronic, is near 100%.

Why is that? Because you are hearing everything through a socially defined, religious mostly, narrow opening in the mind… You’ll miss most of what is being said, and it doesn’t even occur to you… you are oblivious to that.

You won’t make any effort to look at how you are looking, look at the angle of the cone you are looking at, look at the filter… ask additional questions… no, you won’t do that.

Why? Because your mind says that you got the whole issue handled.

Cone Of Vision, Attitude, Responsibility, And Choice

Cone Of Vision, Attitude, Responsibility, And Choice

shedding a layer of stuckednessWhat is transformation? There are many ways to say what it is, for the purposes of this article we’ll say: transformation is catching YOURSELF stuck in a state that is unproductive and self-righteous.

For a transformational teacher every moment looks like an opportunity to cause your transformation: you are always in layers upon layers of stuck states, even when you feel successful, and especially when you feel comfortable.

So, what gives a stuck state away as a stuck state? Stuck state, instead of wrong, right, etc…

Apocalypse: an opportunity to develop capacities

Apocalypse: an opportunity to develop capacities

plans for the apocalypse, but not lifeApocalypse: an opportunity to develop some capacities to be ready for anything

This is an article partially rewritten by me. It is from Rob Brezsny from his book, Pronoia… with my notes, annotations…

He describes, through the “apocalypse” the relationship between the pedestrian (driftwood) way of living and the living on the higher floors… pretty much what I teach… Although his language is a lot more lofty, a lot more “spiritual,” but he expresses what I am trying to say, maybe better than I do.

Apocalypse-11

Some “visionaries” and “prophets” expect a huge and sudden shift in the world’s story sometime in the coming years. Most predict that it will be a sudden cascade of events that completely changes everything everywhere.

What is missing that your life is not changing?

What is missing that your life is not changing?

What is missing that you aren’t changing? What is missing that your life is not changing?

Missing refers to something not present. There is no ‘missing’ in reality… but in comparison you can see that one scenario it is there, in another it isn’t. Continue reading “What is missing that your life is not changing?”

Being guided is the weirdest feeling you can imagine

Being guided is the weirdest feeling you can imagine

I remember, in the “Ultimate Leadership” course, being guided around land mines while my eyes were closed. The issue of trust, trusting my life to another human being was something I still have nightmares about today. The course was almost 10 years ago.

But in that exercise I knew the outcome, so I could keep it in my mind’s eye as “that’s what will be the result if all goes as planned.”

The planet’s smartest people have a narrow cone of vision

The planet’s smartest people have a narrow cone of vision

This is an article I reprinted because I found that it comes at the right juncture: where people are asked to decide if they are going to be the cause of their own evolution, or if they are going to assume the worry for themselves… Worry means no action. It’s a pretense. It is the only recourse of the cowardly, impotent, and ineffective.

The 150 Things the World’s Smartest People Are Afraid of

Afraid Of What? By Brian Merchant

vice_630x420Every year, the online magazine Edge–the so-called smartest website in the world, helmed by science impresario John Brockman–asks top scientists, technologists, writers, and academics to weigh in on a single question. This year, that query was “What Should We Be Worried About?”, and the idea was to identify new problems arising in science, tech, and culture that haven’t yet been widely recognized.

This year’s respondents include former presidents of the Royal Society, Nobel prize-winners, famous sci-fi authors, Nassem Nicholas Taleb, Brian Eno, and a bunch of top theoretical physicists, psychologists, and biologists. And the list is long. Like, book-length long. There are some 150 different things that worry 151 of the planet’s biggest brains. And I read about them all, so you don’t have to: here’s the Buzzfeedized version, with the money quote, title, or summary of the fear pulled out of each essay. Obviously, go read the rest if any of the below get you fretting too.
