When you don’t hurry, time doesn’t hurry either

When you don’t hurry, time doesn’t hurry either

there is no hurry on the creative plane... hurry and mistakes go togetherWhen you don’t hurry, time doesn’t hurry either. When you are prepared you can afford to not hurry

An article I wrote about IQ and your inability to see higher than 1 degree above your level, and about 5 degrees below your level fell on dead silence. Hm, interesting. It seems to have violated something unsaid, and got caught in the filter the mind mounts to stop disturbing news to enter your consciousness.

I shared this with the woman who drives me to do my errands on every Tuesday, and watched her emotions (remember, I am a True Empath!)… the emotions were “holding your breath, playing possum: I am not even here… Nobody home, I didn’t hear you…”

I pondered it until I saw it: we don’t like our bubble burst. We want our self-image to stay the way it is, so all of life can stay the same.

This, in spite of all the wants to be more, live more, do more, have more. In spite of the desire to raise your vibration. Why? Because it’s scary. It is scary to hear that our worst fears are true. Or maybe even worse than we feared them to be.

You see only what the mind allows you to see

You see only what the mind allows you to see

perspective-3This is a four years old article. I am rewriting it to include fixed mindset, the distinction from Carol Dweck’s book, Mindset.

When the mind takes over your perception you see what your mind wants to see.

We have all experienced how the mind tricks us into believing that something other than what’s happening is happening.

When you are dizzy, sea-sick or drunk: the room seems to be spinning. When someone tells you skinny is good, you start liking skinny. When someone tells you you are ugly, you start seeing ugly.

Here are some examples:

1. You are not allowed to see what your mind doesn’t allow you to see…

…this is why Japanese soldiers could not see, till the end, that they were beaten.

drowned-japanese-soldiersMore than that: Japanese soldiers enlisted into the Japanese navy, but never considered that they should learn to swim: the option that their vessel would sink never occurred to them: after all their emperor was invincible. They would not even make any moves to get a life preserver when they were under attack: their mind told them that nothing can, nothing could happen to them… and they died by drowning… victims of the mind hiding reality from them.

You are that Japanese soldier, you just don’t know it.

How a collage is a diagnostic tool

How a collage is a diagnostic tool

the field of admirer-admired collage“What does it matter how many lovers you have if none of them gives you the universe?” French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan posed that question. I invite you to put it at the top of your list of hot topics to meditate on. In doing so, I trust you won’t use it as an excuse to disparage your companions for their inadequacies. Rather, I hope it will mobilize you to supercharge your intimate alliances; to deepen your awareness of the synergistic beauty you could create together; to heighten your ability to be given the universe by those whose fates are interwoven with yours.

In the current live course, from Upset to Communication we have come to the last of the four non-elevated fields of communication, Admirer-admired. My horoscope, above, for the coming week reflects that.

One of my students has already sent me her collage. It has given me a glimpse into her internal conversations that is deeper than I have ever seen… and I have known her for almost six years now.

Collages, where you go through pictures in magazines, or memes on the internet, are the best way to reveal to yourself your relationship, opinion, attitude about the world, about others, about yourself, about effort, ambition, etc.

Making collages has two parts:

How your health number, the number of spiritual capacities, and your earning power are connected?

How your health number, the number of spiritual capacities, and your earning power are connected?

Warning: read the footnotes!

One of my students in my coaching program taught me something today that I could not see before.

Every student of mine has had one or more health consultations with me, where I muscletested their supplementation, their eating style and the foods that work best for their body. 1

They also had to set up their water energizer system.

This particular student had her session a long time ago (in October of last year), but she didn’t make the changes I suggested. She kept emailing me with her doubts: can I trust that these are the foods I can eat? Why do the gurus have low vibration?

Why do the gurus have low vibration?

The guru culture, or enlightenment industry, is much like the weight loss industry. It is full of gurus who look at the world, at human misery and offer “solutions” to large problems through a very narrow cone of vision, with a mindset that makes them look and sound special. Special talent, special connection, special story, selected especially to get this knowledge. 2

How they got enlightened. How they got the gift. Blah blah blah. Male, female… all similar stories, all lies.

Mindvalley is a great aggregator of gurus like that.

Just like the weight loss industry, the purpose of every purchase is to promise you that this is the last and only solution you need, only to leave you hoping that the next “solution” will be the last one, the final solution. Oh, and this is important: if the “solution” doesn’t work, it is your fault. But the next one will be foolproof… you being always the fool who can’t make it work for you.

The guru suggests that there is an end to the seeking and this is it. You found what you were seeking for.

The more popular something is, the more likely that it is low vibration, and not true.

The more popular something is, the more likely that it is low vibration, and not true.

Why? Because the majority is always wrong.

In most cases majority/minority is an extreme proportional inequality: 98-99% to 1~2%

The other extreme is: 90% to 10%, meaning: the “good, productive, true” is never higher than 10%.

There was an Italian economist and sociologist Vilfredo Pareto (1848–1923) who noticed this pattern: that the distribution of income, brain, etc. is not even, not equal, but grossly unequal.

They call this the Pareto’s Principle or the 80-20 principle, but if you are a stickler for precision, like I am, you will know that my numbers are closer to how it is than 80-20. Continue reading “The more popular something is, the more likely that it is low vibration, and not true.”

Those who are worth a damn and who aren’t…

Those who are worth a damn and who aren’t…

success myth: take massive actionWhat is the main difference between people who are worth a damn and people who aren’t?

The answer flies in the face of everything most anyone teaches, except one book and maybe one teacher in particular. 3

What is being taught is to take massive action towards your goal.

But almost no one is on the level among my readers, and I am not there either. On the level meaning where one massive action can get one to the goal. 4

The massive action followers are trying to build results on thin air… Continue reading “Those who are worth a damn and who aren’t…”

Raising your vibration and having agendas: can you do it?

Raising your vibration and having agendas: can you do it?

you attract what you fear, you repel what you wantWhether there is such a thing “law of attraction” or not, there is a phenomenon that I have observed.

If you want something, it tends to get away from you.

Whether it is love, having a community, being well thought of, or money… the wanting it renders you tense, reactive, and closed off. Act in predictable ways, the ways we have revealed for some of you in the Upsets workshop. (Started as Feelings webinars)

Wanting is a mind thing. Maybe a desire trap, maybe not, but definitely not from the Tree of Life, where it is obvious that if you want something, then you go for it, and do the things that get it for you. Not what you always do…

No tension, no tightness, no tight throat… just doing the things that get it for you. Continue reading “Raising your vibration and having agendas: can you do it?”

The answers are not within… so how do you find them?

The answers are not within… so how do you find them?

The above statement, in the title, may or may not be true.

I am most interested not in what is true and false, but what is useful or what is not useful.

Thinking, believing that the answers are within makes you search your memory banks for answers.

And it is never there… You never knew the answer, so it won’t be in your mind. Continue reading “The answers are not within… so how do you find them?”

Yesterday I introduced the distinction “look with fuzzy eyes” on the Feelings webinar.

Yesterday I introduced the distinction “look with fuzzy eyes” on the Feelings webinar.

Words are tricky. You think you understand them, and you think that everyone hears the same meaning when they hear it. They don’t… maybe ever!

The main problem with the Tree of Knowledge: we learn our world through words, instead of experience.

And you end up delusional, making mistakes, and never happy.

This is the main reason for unhappiness. The words create an illusion of being reality… but they aren’t… and moreover the inner map of reality they create is vastly different from reality itself.
