Rocks, pebbles, and sand that your life organized around

Some of my students pondered my article from yesterday and asked themselves: why am I not reading?

One found something that may be the reason billions of people don’t read: by the time they would get to reading, they are too tired. They are spent.

The priority they assign to reading is low.

Normal lives are full of stuff to do that some meme says: you must do.

Take a shower every day, for example. Many people even wash their hair every day. Read the newspaper. Every day. Do shopping when they need something, when they need it. Drive the kid to activities.

Cut coupons. Check facebook, your email, chat, watch cat videos.

Cook every meal… instead of batches is one way many of my students spend their time, instead of reading. I, instead, buy enough to make 7 meals, I cook the food, and put it in sandwich or snack bags… more the snack bags, which are about one fist, so it’s the perfect size.

This means that I don’t cook every day. I always have 10 or so meals prepared in my freezer.

The 3 levels of value: an amazing process to love yourself

In this article I’ll teach you something that has the potential to turn you into a happy, joyful person. No kidding.

Also, it can serve as the bridge between human and human being…

From that you can guess: the distinctions in this article are high level.

At present, if you are a ‘normal’ human, you are judging yourself and others. You are miserable, wretched, prone to get happy, get sad, get depressed at the drop of a hat. Continue reading “The 3 levels of value: an amazing process to love yourself”

What the Nobel Prize winning physicist’s story teaches you

What can the Nobel Prize winning physicist’s story teach you? OR What did Frank Kern learn the hard way?

First, before I get into the story itself, let’s ponder the meaning of teaching so we are on the same page, OK?

As someone who attempts to teach, let me tell you what it’s like for me. I find a thousand different ways to say, demonstrate, frame what I want to teach. And I invent thousand and one stories. I find books that hint on what I want to teach. Often I sing it, I make it a comedy, make it a tragedy. And I make you read. I make you practice activating your eye muscles and the related brain areas… Continue reading “What the Nobel Prize winning physicist’s story teaches you”

-Seeing what you cannot see. Seeing what’s worth seeing

Most of what is there to see can’t be seen neither in the small picture, nor does it match what is already approved to see in the culture.

When I look what kinds of fiction, what kinds of stuff attracts people nowadays, I find that the most popular genre is the kind of fiction where evil almost wins. Almost. Continue reading “-Seeing what you cannot see. Seeing what’s worth seeing”

How does self-fulfilling prophecy really work?

We are still hanging out with The Sight capacity…

Everybody teaches that what you think about comes about.

What they base this inane untruth on is the bad things that you somehow seem to make happen by concentrating on them through fear.

And although the fear-based manifestation is true a lot of the time, the ‘positive’ manifestation happens only as accident, if ever. Continue reading “How does self-fulfilling prophecy really work?”

Any jump is jump from the skillet to the fire

You can’t JUMP to the truth… in fact, any jump is jump from the skillet to the fire

I like to use the 67 steps in my own process to slowly turning to the truth, and in teaching and coaching. That program seems to JUMP to SOME truth. But it is wise enough to not declare that small and relative truth, THE Truth.

This is in contrast with everybody else. Continue reading “Any jump is jump from the skillet to the fire”

Is muscletesting a good truth method to pick a diet?

web-muscletestingI am getting hate mail.

How reliable is your judgment? Are you judgmental? astute?

Astuteness means:

To judge something accurately, you need a lot of skills, spiritual capacities, including seeing the big picture, etc. You need to be able to tell similar things apart. You need to be astute. And you may need to be able to answer the question ‘But is he/it worth a damn?’

The originator of that question, But is he worth a damn? Tai Lopez looks for credentials, because they are easy to check. But when I go and check the truth value of the books he recommends, I find anything from 3% to 9%. and that is not worth a damn. Continue reading “How reliable is your judgment? Coming Out Of Grief – The Process And the Problem

grief replaced angerThis article deals with the stages of healing, healing your grief. Denial, anger, fear, and so on.

The most important distinction I can add is: check your cone of vision. If your cone of vision is narrow, everything is colored or filled with your grief: the context of life becomes your grief, independent of the content of life.

In addition to that, when you are grief stricken, you start interacting with unreality, and avoid reality. Continue reading “Coming Out Of Grief – The Process And the Problem”
