Want to become competent in life? Competence is rare…

Want to become competent in life? Competence is rare…

I watched, mostly listened to the ‘masterclass’ selling Eric Edmeades’ Wildfit course.

The truth value of what Eric Edmeades said was 30%. There was nothing in it that was untrue… it just cannot go higher when you have a product for mass consumption, a one size fit all product.

Eric Edmeades’ vibration is 200.

As in every masterclass, he was having a conversation with Vishen Lakhiani, who looks fabulous, but is insufferable, for the most part. His vibration is 150. Continue reading “Want to become competent in life? Competence is rare…”

Change your view… change your life

If transformation is due to the change in what you see then the most important thing to change is your view.

Your view of anything is what you actually see without resistance. Mostly a tiny bit of what is there… and you base your whole worldview on that tiny bit.

Your language, your behavior, your facial expression can reveal the your view of self you are trying to hide.

Your language, the words you use, your tone of voice, reveals your inner coherence, and all the unreality you consider reality, your attitude, your haughtiness, your delusion… everything. Continue reading “Change your view… change your life”

To what degree is your life fragmented?

fragmented lifeYour vibration, your creativity, your truth value all depends on your cone of vision… But until you see that you have a narrow cone of vision, that you look at things with narrow cone of vision, or a narrow filter, you won’t want to make it wider.

Wide cone of vision means inclusive… narrow cone of vision is exclusive… exclusive of areas that you KNOW don’t matter, don’t belong, or you don’t like them. Exclusive because you KNOW the answer…

The most exciting insights first show up in the corner of your eyes… Which means they are literally outside of your cone of vision.

One way I see this is how attached you are to one area of life, or one way to do it, or one problem you have.

Heaven and Hell… The bald spot on my head…

Heaven and Hell… The bald spot on my head…
How do you know that you are slipping onto the horizontal plane… the plane of the valley of the shadow of death? hell…

It is on the vertical plane where you can say: A is A. Fully accepting reality, resisting none of it. Having no need to hide from it, changing it, wishing it away. 1

Reality is the way it is. You are a guest to it… and like a guest, you’ll find that it is not the way YOU would run the show… and that is OK. The show goes the way the show goes.

If you add anything, out loud or in your head or in your feelings… then A is not A, and you are not on the vertical. You are on the horizontal plane, where A is not A, where reality’s rules are resisted, and where you can only be unhappy, forcing your will, or resign to never have what you want.

For decades I had thinning hair.

When I looked in the mirror, there was a balding circle on my skull… The size of two of my palms. Continue reading “Heaven and Hell… The bald spot on my head…”

Stuff we see we solve, the stuff we don’t see kicks our ass

Turning the impossible possible…. results in flow

I have been listening to a podcast… two and a half hour long, so I can take only a half hour here, a half hour there…

The sentences above are from that podcast… a conversation about how to get into your flow state.

Because I have client with a half-done Juice Exercise call, I am looking for some help in that podcast… some more inspiration than I already have… More faith, more confidence… Continue reading “Stuff we see we solve, the stuff we don’t see kicks our ass”

Life is a lot like plate spinning… Are you dropping your plates?

Today I learned a new word.

Injecting energy into something… as a way to delay or avoid entropy. Entropy is the universal tendency of everything to move towards dissolution…

This is the nth time I heard this step in the 67 steps, but this time I heard the expression “injecting energy” for the first time.

If I missed it even though I heard it many times, how many things do you miss?

Know Thyself is a principle… but how do you do it?

Know thyself is what is one of the 147 maxims (a short, pithy statement expressing a general truth or rule of conduct. Not the same as a principle, but there are many overlaps… Most of these maxims are virtues. My favorites are “Know what you have learned” and “Be/Know yourself”, because they are maybe the most important. Do yourself a favor, and read them, and ponder.) inscribed in Delphi… 2

In fact, it is a principle.

A principle is something to live by, something to get guidance from.

When we talk about principle driven life, any of those 147, and countless other principles will do your life justice.

When I look at people, when I observe them, their lives have no rhyme, no purpose…

Looking good is not a principle.
Wanting to be right is not a principle
I am pretty/smart/stupid is not a principle
I want to be rich is not a principle Continue reading “Know Thyself is a principle… but how do you do it?”

Seeing Wide and Far plus seeing Reality is the key to the Kingdom

Seeing Wide and Far plus seeing Reality is the key to the Kingdom

This are the rarest human qualities, rarest capacities of all. They require high level of consciousness… that is why.

Of course no one is high consciousness or low consciousness… we are all on a scale of consciousness.

For example I discovered, doing the experiment with the candy yesterday, through glimpses of my behavior and thoughts, that side by side the high vibration, high consciousness person there are remnants of callousness (showing or having an insensitive and cruel disregard for others, cold hearted, unfeeling) that I wasn’t aware of. It includes me, it includes my health, it includes everyone.

I woke up at 3 am from a nightmare… a tiger was licking my dog (I don’t actually have a dog, I have never had one) before it would eat it, and it was all my fault… I was scrambling for some weapon, until I stumbled onto a rake, and stabbed the tiger with it and it let go of the poor dog. Don’t even look at the marshmallow… or else

Don’t even look at the marshmallow… or else

I like failed experiments. Why? Because successful experiments are more likely the result of confirmation bias… So even in experiments I opt for the Anna Karenina Principle: remove all that isn’t a certain yes, everything that is accidental in the results or make the result a bad result, something I don’t want.

So I am preparing for an experiment today, the “don’t eat the marshmallow” experiment.

I have been, thus far, absolutely unreliable and untrustworthy to not eat something I should not eat, like candy or chocolate, or fruit.

So I ordered a 10 oz bag of dark chocolate covered mint patties, sugar free. Last time I did this I ate all of it within 16 hours… Continue reading “Don’t even look at the marshmallow… or else”

Vision, Values, Mission… are there any pre-requisites?

Vision, Values, Mission… are there any pre-requisites?

If you have lived a lifestyle that left you with no foundation for self-growth is answering the question… what comes first: the chicken or the egg.

You, people in this predicament have one characteristic in common: you don’t want to do anything that you cannot see the immediate usefulness of it.

Usefulness can also be enjoyment… enjoyment is useful. Enjoyment is an extrinsic value. Continue reading “Vision, Values, Mission… are there any pre-requisites?”
