What is Freedom? What is Liberty? What is the difference?

Freedom versus Liberty, those who thrive, survivors, or those fallen by the wayside

When I ask people what they want, many say they want freedom. When we poke into it: they want a sense of freedom, but think the way to get to freedom is through liberty… Let me explain.

Just like with all words we use, here is huge confusion, a collapse of two distinctions: freedom and liberty. They are not connected. They don’t even overlap!

Will you break for freedom?

eagle breaks for freedom…Or will you complain that “they” don’t allow you to be free? That you can’t…

Most mornings I get up when I wake up. But today, I got up to pee, weighed myself, and went back to bed. Something told me I have some thinking to do that would be impossible if I went about my day as usual.

So I went back to bed and allowed myself to see what wanted to be seen… I chose to surrender and see what Life wants. The trick is to feel the difference between the forceful “I want this” and the gentle “Life wants this” tugs. The most significant difference is the force… the second: I don’t remember wanting this… lol. So what Life wants is different from all the things I want. In a way, what Life wants doesn’t make sense.

What makes sense isn’t from Life. What makes sense isn’t true. What makes sense is not from the here and now: it is from the Tree of Knowledge. Continue reading “Will you break for freedom?”

Can you fully recover from depression from a drug?

You should consider reading the novel, Flowers for Algernon, by Daniel Keyes

Not the movie, the book.

Why, you would ask… Because it shows you what happens when you get to unearned heights.

In the book, Charlie undergoes an operation that makes his brain perform at beyond genius level… only to go back to become mentally handicapped… again.

Because a living being is an organism, you really cannot gift it a higher level than the whole organism. It cannot carry the weight… and it collapses to where it was before the “gifting” or below. Continue reading “Can you fully recover from depression from a drug?”

Is cheerfulness good for you? Is it a virtue?

Is cheerfulness good for you? Is it a virtue?

Portrait of family outdoors, close up

This article was inspired by an Aeon.co article against cheerfulness as a virtue

cheerfulness: noticeably happy and optimistic.
causing happiness by its nature or appearance.

I am taking that concept to its conclusion… So here we go…

The mantra of the world-class thinker is: “I am responsible.”

That quote is from Mentally Tough leader, Steve Siebold…

I get his one-sentence emails, and I read them. They are all wakeup calls, and they are all telling me the many ways your TLB, Twitchy Little Bastard score manifests.

I teach that the most valuable ability, capacity, aspiration, maybe even virtue is to interact with reality.

How to get out of the cave of your mind to live in reality?

How to get out of the cave of your mind to live in reality?

I just had an email conversation with a client. She wanted my review on a marketed healing program, and I reviewed it for her. The person doing it: personal vibration 100, truth value of that program: 3%

The things you are attracted to cater to where you are in your evolution as a human… They talk to your ‘identity’, to your worldview, to who you are.

If you are attracted to a 3% truth value program it is because your worldviews truth value is about 3%. 97% not reality, not truth, 97% b.s. These programs sell like hotcakes… Because this is the level that most humans live on now. And it is getting lower. Continue reading “How to get out of the cave of your mind to live in reality?”

Arrogance, appreciation, Sherlock, myself and your pebble

Arrogance, appreciation, Sherlock, myself and your pebble

If you have attended one of my Pebble webinars, you know that your pebble is your dominant desire that the world at large frowns at.

I have seen, on the calls, the desire to be significant, the desire to be different, the desire to belong, to be accepted, the desire to be untied, unburdened, allowed to be yourself, the desire to live on Easy Street, and the desire to do something that really matters.

There are more, but these are the desires that have been represented on the calls already. We have a lot more calls scheduled, so there is a chance that we’ll see a lot more.

The desire, when you look at it, is legitimate. You may have the same desire. Unfortunately to you, your dominant desire was not honored as valid, not honored as legitimate by your parents, your siblings, your teachers, your church, your peers.

The average truth value of good articles only 7%

The average truth value of good articles only 7%
Why is the average truth value of a good article only around 7%? That is a very low number! Please explain…

As you may have noticed, it is harder and harder for me to write an article a day. There are 4000 articles on this site, and they all came easily… if I remember correctly. But suddenly I have nothing to say.

Or better said: I have only to say something when someone asks me, like in coaching or on a webinar… otherwise I feel there is no listening for me to say something, therefore I have no desire, no urgency to say anything. Continue reading “The average truth value of good articles only 7%”

Will measuring your vibration prove you are a butterfly?

Will measuring your vibration prove you are a butterfly?

First let me clarify the terminology: vibration is an invented logarithmic number… It indicates the level you are on the level of evolutionary scale in every area of life, including intellectually, spiritually, emotionally.

Butterfly life:

you can live life on the horizontal plane (caterpillar life) where everything feels personal, attacking, dangerous, offending, painful, dramatic, or the vertical plane, what we could call “heaven on earth” where you are not bothered by stuff… where you experience joy, enthusiasm, love, caring, etc… and get things done, so your life feels worth living.

One of the most frequent things people find my site with, is the question: what is the real difference between a butterfly and a caterpillar, and why you can’t talk butterfly language with caterpillar people. Continue reading “Will measuring your vibration prove you are a butterfly?”

What is YOUR enough? Why are you where you are?

What is YOUR enough? Why are you where you are?

Enough, meaning as much or as many as required. We’ll see that by whom it is required, and for what it is required will change enough a lot.

I remember, long time ago, writing an article to introduce the concept “enough” and one of my students got it and it propelled her to previously unimaginable heights of vibration.

This was years ago… I will probably have to look up that old article to remember what I wrote… it must have been profound. But I’ll refrain… instead I am going to look how is the state of “enough” among my students and maybe myself.

After I finished this article, I did look up that old article, and it’s brilliant. I could not say it better today. It also talks about our newest recognized challenge: you don’t know how to learn anything… so you can’t grow. Go and read it if you are a friend of yourself.

The tumbleweed or the invisible dynamic of a life worth living

There are two opposing ways of being that individually each is out of step with Life… unless they join forces… The tumbleweed

My Playground course is designed to bring the participants back to pre organized-religion times, where being in sync, being in harmony, being in step with Life is natural and not a sin.

But it is a B-i-t-c-h to teach.

Why? Because “The chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.” Continue reading “The tumbleweed or the invisible dynamic of a life worth living”
