Why you are not as well as you’d like to be?

Why you are not as well as you’d like to be?

Diagnosis: what is it and why is it important for your emotional and physical well being? Or for your money, your relationship, your happiness?
Summary: In this article I prove that only by going back to the root of the discomfort, dis-ease, and misfortune, that you can “heal” the present and make the future more to your liking.
Whether it is in the area of your health, wealth, relationships, emotions, or your spiritual life.

Conscious Awareness… how much do you do with awareness?

Conscious Awareness… how much do you do with awareness?

Conscious awareness, this is the expression I have learned, so far, from reading the Anastasia books, The Ringing Cedars of Russia series.

It sounds like a puny takeaway, but it is major in its implications.

It has raised MY conscious awareness of what and how I am teaching.

You know, from time to time you can’t see the forest for the trees. I can’t… lol

On my webinar calls, I teach you to step back, I teach you to find your Tangerine Spot, I teach you to lift it with your attention…

Let me stop here, because there is enough to say about those three distinctions that have left students at my mercy.

Being guided is the weirdest feeling you can imagine

Being guided is the weirdest feeling you can imagine

I remember, in the “Ultimate Leadership” course, being guided around land mines while my eyes were closed. The issue of trust, trusting my life to another human being was something I still have nightmares about today. The course was almost 10 years ago.

But in that exercise I knew the outcome, so I could keep it in my mind’s eye as “that’s what will be the result if all goes as planned.”

Choices: who is making your choices?

choices-3Life is full of choices. We, for the most part, don’t see that we are choosing because the chooser is the mind, is habit, is societal right and wrong, and we don’t get to experience the fact that every time we choose something we say yes to something and no to everything else.

For example, when you choose to always take the long road, when you choose to move slowly and hesitantly, or alternatively being in a hurry, haste… (your typical life, wouldn’t you say?) you choose to fill your life with stuff that doesn’t contribute to you… you are just wasting time. 1 Or when you choose to wait till the last minute to do the homework that is observing this or that… you also really choose to not do it… because you can’t observe in the last minute… so you chose to stay the same… Can you see that?

I know it is quite futile to strive to wake up everybody, but I am allowed to strive to wake up some people, so that’s what I am going to do.

The planet’s smartest people have a narrow cone of vision

The planet’s smartest people have a narrow cone of vision

This is an article I reprinted because I found that it comes at the right juncture: where people are asked to decide if they are going to be the cause of their own evolution, or if they are going to assume the worry for themselves… Worry means no action. It’s a pretense. It is the only recourse of the cowardly, impotent, and ineffective.

The 150 Things the World’s Smartest People Are Afraid of

Afraid Of What? By Brian Merchant

vice_630x420Every year, the online magazine Edge–the so-called smartest website in the world, helmed by science impresario John Brockman–asks top scientists, technologists, writers, and academics to weigh in on a single question. This year, that query was “What Should We Be Worried About?”, and the idea was to identify new problems arising in science, tech, and culture that haven’t yet been widely recognized.

This year’s respondents include former presidents of the Royal Society, Nobel prize-winners, famous sci-fi authors, Nassem Nicholas Taleb, Brian Eno, and a bunch of top theoretical physicists, psychologists, and biologists. And the list is long. Like, book-length long. There are some 150 different things that worry 151 of the planet’s biggest brains. And I read about them all, so you don’t have to: here’s the Buzzfeedized version, with the money quote, title, or summary of the fear pulled out of each essay. Obviously, go read the rest if any of the below get you fretting too.

The Law of Choices, or do you really have a choice?

The Law of Choices, or do you really have a choice?

turning point choicesI am still dealing with the attacks, I am still working out this whole theory of humanity consisting of different groups having a vastly different set of DNA’s exactly in the areas that distinguish human from other species… in the area of their humanity or the lack of it. Can you love and hate, have compassion/contempt?

Can you love and hate, have compassion/contempt?

Choosing, caring, designer energies…

On Sunday we went back to Standard Time, and it’s Tuesday. The time change always whacks me out, it takes me weeks to get back my bearings.

I slept in today. I missed the garbage pickup. I have a sore throat. …but had a dream that brought up some issues that are worth talking about.

Caring is not a feeling. Caring is choosing

Your emotions make your decisions for you, not your mind.

Your emotions make your decisions for you, not your mind.

A student of mine sent me this article because of my recent discovery I talked about in the “What’s wrong with me” article, and have been elaborating on it on the free webinars that I have three times a week. Continue reading “Your emotions make your decisions for you, not your mind.”

What is the Self? What happens after you find your self?

What is the Self? What happens after you find your self?

What is the self? This question comes up again and again. Is it the same as the ego? Is it the same as soul? Is it this, is it that?

I have been asking this question as well. We didn’t come to this world to know self, and definitely weren’t allowed to get to know self.

The moment, in the cradle, you discovered that when you smiled adults got excited and gave you more attention, your corruption, the corruption of the untarnished, unspoiled self began.

The personality that you now honor as your self is on the circumference of your being. The circumference is rich in adjectives, adverbs, and poor in being.

You say I am this, and I am that, and I have to maintain this and that… or sometimes you say “being this” or “being that.”

The moment there is a word after the word “being” we are moving away from Self.
