Where are you in self-realization?

Where are you in self-realization? Have you realized all the treasures you were given at birth?

I have been getting lots of critical and ugly emails and comments.

I am contemplating if I should get upset, then I watch Brene Brown’s talk on video, and shrug.

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

Depending on where you are in self-realization, you are going to love and cherish, or be so what about the video…

One of the brilliant ideas from the 67 steps that hardly anyone considers as applying to them is the idea of spending at least one third of their discretionary time

Discretionary time is time you have control over, time you can call your own.  I have found that it could be as high as two hours, but as a minimum, an hour a day is necessary if you want to grow. You’ll train your TLB with this too… because being with people who are better than you is NOT comfortable… actually it can be very painful. This article is stream of consciousness… I apologize for that.

Principles 1 are tricky. Depending on your level of vibration, on the size of your cone of vision, on the number and size of patterns you can see, you’ll translate the principle down to your size.

A principle says something to me, and another thing to you.

And yet, being guided by principles, your results in life will be happier than if you choose to live your life from vague longings, goals, or following how the ones went before you lived their lives. Shall I become popular, or shall I choose to do the work no one else can do but needs to be done? You either do one or the other…

I am still looking at how to become an influencer… 2

It’s not really my ambition… 3 I am much more comfortable doing my thing and barely be noticed. But it seems that in today’s day and age, unless you do a lot of hoopla, loud, self-promotion, partnering up with high visibility people, and other fashionable strategies, becoming an influencer is impossible.

I am still looking if I really want to become an influencer or not.

If you’ve bought into the b.s. that thinking good thoughts, happy thoughts, being non-judgmental is good for you, 5 then your vibration is low, but more importantly, your vibration cannot be raised, unless you let go of this b.s.

Let’s turn this baby on its head: if you bought into the b.s. that your thoughts create your reality, and you need to avoid thinking bad thoughts regarding yourself, the world, the future, other people, because it makes you and your life bad… then there is nothing I can ever do for you, unless you change your mind.

Why? Because you refuse to interact with reality, you refuse to base your actions on reality.

Reality is neither good nor bad, it is what it is.

What you crave is experiences… So you make them up

This morning I am looking at the tremendous difference between high vibration and low vibration. My head is spinning… wow.

One can say, that vibration is a number that measures how much of reality you see accurately.

  • What you see, of course, depends on what you know, what you can distinguish from everything else… accurately.
  • What you see, of course, depends on where you are when you are looking. How high, and how wide and how deep you look.
  • and what you see, of course depends on what you’ll consider as relevant… we’ll consider this your grounds of being.
  • and lastly, what you see will depend on your attitude aka what is driving the looking.

All these, of course, are nearly invisible for the looker. the person whose vibration we measure…

I am saying “nearly invisible” because unless you pay attention to what you see, to where you are looking from, to what you consider relevant and to what is your attitude… these factors are unconscious and therefore not seen. When you are fixing something, the solution becomes the next, bigger problem

Human history has gone from problems to bigger problems throughout most of its 200 thousand years.

What is fixing?

Fixing needs something to be wrong. Wrong is a systemic judgment, cultural and personal. It is never true in reality… one could say: there is never anything wrong in reality.

Dying is not wrong, dying is dying. Being sick is not wrong, it is being sick. Being slow, ugly, lazy is not wrong, it is just being slow, ugly, or lazy.

This means that any and all fixing is working on something that doesn’t need fixing… so the fixing adds a new wrinkle to things that isn’t supposed to be there… the new wrinkle is not natural. Sticky point: tell the self apart from the not-self

Being able to tell the self apart from other things, the not-self. 6

You are not your feelings, not your thoughts, not your history. Not even what you do, or what you have, or what you have achieved!

I didn’t realize that this is such a big issue, collapsing all these and calling it “you”.

This is the source of unclarity, and ultimately it is the source of the delusional self and misery. Utter misery.

What am I talking about?

One aspect of clarity is to be able to tell the person from their actions. The person from their feelings. The person from their story or history. The person from what they have done. The person from everything else…

It seems that at a low level of clarity (low vibration) this isn’t obvious.
