Forrest Gump is a great person to teach my work through

forrest gump and his bracesForrest Gump again… to clarify some of the most important distinctions a person can have to live a life worth living.

Some of the most important, and most life altering distinctions one can have are coming up nowadays daily in questions, in podcast… and I am happy about that.

The two that come up and will come up every session is choice and of course context.

Choice is easy to see… Continue reading “Forrest Gump is a great person to teach my work through”

Are dogs happy? Are cats happy? Are humans happy?

Are dogs happy? Are cats happy? Are humans happy?

I woke up this morning. Felt a sore throat. I started to get dressed. Put on my socks, my thick padded pants, and… went back to bed.

I slept a little, pondered a little during that hour.

I am reading a book by Neal Stephenson (Termination Shock) that is dealing with global warming. It is a tome… 720 pages. Very interesting, albeit nothing much is happening, at least not as far as I have read, 75%. Continue reading “Are dogs happy? Are cats happy? Are humans happy?”

How bad do you want it? Not that bad, I see!

How bad do you want it? Not that bad, I see!

success indicatorI have a workshop I give occasionally. (What’s missing) In all honesty, I stole it from Landmark Education, and yet I consider it my own.

In that workshop there is a moment of drama. Drama that opens your eyes wide, and you are mortified by seeing who you are, and how you are. Continue reading “How bad do you want it? Not that bad, I see!”

One thing at a time: What is one thing that could…
potty training in an empowering contextEver wondered why people never amount to much? You, or maybe someone you know?

Yesterday I had a flurry of conversations with clients and one thing became very obvious by 6 pm: people are trying to handle too many things at the same time. A whole laundry list of things.

Even two is too many. Continue reading “One thing at a time: What is one thing that could…”

What’s missing that in spite of all you do, you get nothing?

What’s missing that in spite of all you do, you get nothing?

context is decisiveYou get nothing of what you really want…

Everyone tells you to be productive. Get up at the crack of dawn or before, and work work work.

And many do, getting a diabetes diagnosis, or dropping dead, or having to introduce themselves to their kids at their graduation or they would not recognize them.

But maybe that is not the purpose of life. Continue reading “What’s missing that in spite of all you do, you get nothing?”

How fast can you raise your vibration? to get…

How fast can you raise your vibration? to get…

raise your vibrationYou want to raise your vibration, Right? You do… That is why you are here…

And you can. Your next question is probably: how fast?

There are two main issues for that question, how fast. Lack of courage and lack of humility, that if you have them, you probably won’t be able to raise your vibration until you overcome these two issues. Continue reading “How fast can you raise your vibration? to get…”

Pain vs Suffering: Pain is necessary, suffering is optional

Pain vs Suffering: Pain is necessary, suffering is optional

pain vs sufferingDistinctions are the currency of communication, growth, transformation, and evolution.

And when you look distinctions are missing for most humans… I can be almost certain that outside of the thousand special people who have their responsibility gene on… No one else really HAS distinctions, outside of their profession or hobby. If your life is manageable, you can’t and won’t grow

If your life is manageable, you can’t and won’t grow

The first step in AA, Alcoholics Anonymous says: We admitted that we were powerless over alcohol––that our lives had become unmanageable.

Whether you know it or not, that is the most important of all the steps. And of life… Continue reading “If your life is manageable, you can’t and won’t grow”

Does Alex Jones, like children, believe his own B.S.?

Does Alex Jones, like children, believe his own B.S.?
Are humans even interested in transcendence?

Transcendence is growing through and beyond. And whether anyone says it or not, you always go beyond a stage when it is considered by you handled.

I am reading a book by the same author who wrote about the predatory genes in another book of his.

He is a novelist, a fiction writer, so anyone who takes everything he says at face value is like the people who listen to Alex Jones and take it like the truth… I even know one personally… ugh.

Anyway, I am reading this new book that just came out a few days ago. After a boring 110 page preamble he gets to the interesting stuff… about sentient life in the cosmos… Continue reading “Does Alex Jones, like children, believe his own B.S.?”

How to turn yourself from a guppy into a majestic dolphin?

How to turn yourself from a guppy into a majestic dolphin?

trying: what it cost youTrying to be funny? This is one of my sore spots watching movies or interacting with people in life…

I hate people when they are trying… trying to please me, trying to prove that they love me, trying to prove that they are already OK… They are trying my patience!

Rant finished… but I do want to talk about trying… forcing… about the smell of sweat and about the inauthenticity of it all.

You resort to trying because you are a twitchy little bastard. Because you want immediate gratification, but nothing worth having is going to give it to you, so you are covering up the fact that you don’t want what is worth having… Continue reading “How to turn yourself from a guppy into a majestic dolphin?”
