The end of having to fix what’s wrong is nigh

Why wouldn’t we want to fix what’s wrong?

Because nothing is wrong. It is what it is, it is how it is, and it is just a phase, it is just a place, it is just how it is, for now.

I am sure you are asking yourself: has she finally gone completely insane?

But I have always been like this… because this is the only place where you can be happy, growing, doing what you want to do… when nothing is wrong. Continue reading “The end of having to fix what’s wrong is nigh”

This is how can you become sane in an insane world?

sane in an insane worldFalling in step, do it my way, destroy everything in the process

There are two ways to live.

One is to force, complain about what you don’t have, suffer
The other is to work with what you have

Roughly 3,000 years ago humanity moved towards the ‘my way or the highway’ direction.

Judaism was a religion that required submission to Life
Christianity was a new religion that fosters the sword
Islam was a tradition that went one step further: if you are not with us you are against us

Christianity and Islam took it upon itself to declare itself and its god superior to Life, to Nature, to all-of-it. Continue reading “This is how can you become sane in an insane world?”

Equality: All men are created equal… true or false?

Equality: All men are created equalAll men are created equal. That is the design. Whether you are a Bible reader, where The Book of Genesis says that when God created the world, God created humanity ‘in the Divine Image.’ or you look at the DNA and see that all humans have essentially the same DNA… we are equal, but some people are more equal than others… fffffff! Right?

This is going to be a post/article I am thinking through as I am writing it. I don’t already know what will come out of it.

It is not meant to be racist, elitist, or anything like that. It is meant to be looking what is the truth about that statement in the Declaration of Independence, and what it means to you.

I consider every person a person… so to me all men are a person… and yet, I measure stuff about them, and I hold the idea that the underlying design, the DNA is the same in all.

Hah… and therein lies the mischief. Continue reading “Equality: All men are created equal… true or false?”

Happiness? Unhappiness? What is underneath of it all?

happiness unhappinessI am going to go off on the Bach energy Vine… yet again. Are you unhappy yet?

But before I do that, let me bore you a little more… and do a little vocabulary lesson.

If you get it, your chances for happiness increase ten-fold. If you don’t… ahem… you know what will happen.

The word occur or occurrence… is misused in the English language… It does NOT mean: happen. Happen is another word…

Occur means: present itself TO someone.

Lots of things can happen, but a lot fewer occur… i.e. the tree falling in the forest happens, but it only occurs if there is an observer. Continue reading “Happiness? Unhappiness? What is underneath of it all?”

The cost of believing in the power of mind

people don't think... and thinking is power. You are supposedly the peak of evolution… and you supposedly have a brilliant tool: your thinking brain. But when you only use it to do mind-functions, remembering and recalling, you use only 1-3% of its power… and you are a slave. Unless you have the courage to learn to use your brain correctly… you’ll remain a slave.

A famous physics professor, one day, was shaking his head.

‘I can’t teach them physics the way I learned physics’ he complained.

I interview students for my graduate program, and they are all, almost all, unable to think for themselves.

When they show up for the interview, I ask them: Why are you wearing the suit jacket you are wearing?

Self-sabotage

self-sabotage: insisting on being rightSelf-sabotage…

What makes someone procrastinate on doing things that would make a difference for them?

What makes someone not use what they bought?

What makes someone undermine their own efforts? Sabotage themselves?

Why would someone not get the benefits they wanted? Continue reading “Self-sabotage”

Give your inner wisdom a chance to talk. Then listen

looking outside for guidanceGive your inner wisdom a chance to talk

I have been changing up what I do in my business to find… again… what works.

What do I mean ‘works’?

In business (but my hunch is everywhere in life) things work well for a while and then they don’t. Continue reading “Give your inner wisdom a chance to talk. Then listen”

It’s completely predictable. It always happens without fail.

predictableIt wasn’t always… It is getting worse… In my generation, in my country of origin… in my ethnicity it wasn’t predictable…

But America… it is. In California: it is. In the South: it is. In New York: it isn’t. In England: it isn’t. In South Africa: it isn’t. In Canada: it is.

What is it? What is that predictable thing?

Who are your customers? are you selling what they want?

who are your customers?I just had my first ‘podcast call’ with Bonnie, one of my newer students. I really like her. Her first question hit me unexpectedly low: she asked: who are you making the podcast for… who is going to listen to it? who are your customers?

I hadn’t given it any thought… I only thought of what I wanted to teach… hm. Continue reading “Who are your customers? are you selling what they want?”

The fallacy that slow is better. Slow is not better…

slow is not betterSlow is better,  slow is not better…

First off: what is a fallacy? A fallacy is a belief, a behavior, a theory that is based on a premise, an argument that is mistaken. The low truth value of most science, economic theories, spiritual teachings, or most non-fiction book is because of this: the premise, the foundation, the argument is mistaken. The fact that someone got a Nobel Prize only shows that this is hidden from plain view.

This article will deal with one unsound argument, one premise that is false but invisible.

When T. Harv Eker said: when something is not working, there is something you don’t know… The “something you don’t know” is always from the invisible. ALWAYS. And more often than not, it is a premise, undebated, unconscious, taken for a fact.

So, here you go: the title says it all: it is believed that slow is good. That slow is “mindful”. Continue reading “The fallacy that slow is better. Slow is not better…”
