Connecting To Source: Removing The Limited Perspective Of The Human Mind
In this article I’d like to share about one benefit that you see when you connect, and you connect regularly.
In the 6,000 years that we’ve been voluntarily disconnected from our Source, we have been limited to the vantage point being ground-bound, physical existence-bound, mind-bound, past-bound.
In spite of the fact that almost as soon as we disconnected, we started to build Upper Worlds of our own design, we are still EArth Bound.
What does this mean? This means that the real nature of reality, the holographic nature of it, is hidden from our view. Even if scientists, including quantum greats, talk about it, even their view of reality is earth-bound.
What does that mean? That it’s a limited perspective. It comes and deeply rooted in our powerlessness, and our being at the mercy of some spirits, and angels, and dark side, and some god who sits on a throne and passes judgment. Even if that same god sent “his son” and all that.
That whole world, the Upper Worlds, given that we created them, from our earth-bound point of view, are out of our reach.
Although I didn’t like Marianne Williamson’s energy in the only book I read from her, I love the inspired quote:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE. It is our LIGHT, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. YOUR PLAYING SMALL DOES NOT SERVE THE WORLD. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. WE ARE ALL MEANT TO SHINE, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; IT’S IN EVERYONE. And as we LET OUR OWN LIGHT SHINE, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” –Marianne Williamson
Now, I don’t know how Marianne Williamson came to this conclusion, but I assume that for a brief moment she connected to something that accessed the true nature of the Universe. It wasn’t herself: my muscletest says that she never actually connected directly to Source. But the quote is. It is connected.
Let me share a recent insight, a glimpse I “stole” that shows me to what degree our limited perspective keeps us from being who we were meant to be, and how connecting can make all the difference.
Not very fast, mind you, I have been connecting for quite some time!
If you have read other articles of mine, you know that I use a computer game, a version of solitaire, Freecell, to both train myself and test myself.
So far the most important accomplishment I got from these exercises is that I can stop, for a moment, when I am sure that I am losing the game, and say: “It ain’t necessarily so.”
I look, I follow all the possible moves I could make, and it is obvious to me that I am losing this game. I am still not hitting restart. I say “It ain’t necessarily so…” and I make sure I am connected, I am willing to be made wrong, I am willing to find out that I am blind, stupid, mistaken… whatever label you want to put on a mistake.
Then, I take a deep breath, concentrate on my connection (the Tangerine Spot) and look again. 4 out of 5 “lost” games turn out to be a few steps away from being winning games.
It is not that the game changed, though I have never taken a screen shot. What changed is where I am looking from. Once I am connected I am tuned into my own god-nature. And from there most things are not impossible.
It’s unsettling, it’s rattling my cage, it makes me grieve for all the opportunities I have missed in my life, but after brief periods of grieving, I rejoice for what the future holds for me.
In my sessions with my students I see the same amazement, the same opening of the eyes to what was before invisible, hidden, veiled, and with connection it is now there for the person to see.
And this is the kind of transformation that you can expect when you connect to Source, allow Source to do its work to catch up to today…
The more you connect, the more you ask Source to do the work Source finds important to do. Instead of considering Source your personal assistant, a boy-Friday or a girl-Friday… you will surrender to what Source deems to do for you, and be grateful for that.
Your ego will be bristled, because the man-made laws corrupted you, meaning Law of Attraction, or religions, but if you can contain your ego, Source’s energy will eventually reach your present circumstances and start working on those.
Not my will, by thy will be done… is one of the sentences I see haven’t been corrupted by faulty translations and interpretations from the original message.
Just connect, connect long and deep. Your bliss is forthcoming.
The limitations you now see will be removed from your “eyes” and you will be able to accomplish what you have always wanted, you always hoped you could, but didn’t believe.
